 OFFICER Member Since: September 2008   | Saturday April 25, 2009 7:04 AM *****I DID NOT SELECT THE MUSIC - YouTube forced me to take out the music I orginally had which was Wolfmother - Mother, and something else - but due to Licensing, I had Youtube add music in randomly cuz I'm lazyThe Pull: We positioned outside down the second set of stairs on the little platform. we had a Paladin start the pull (our offtank) that way he would get primary aggro off the Sentries. The rest of the hug is required to hug the wall to ensure you LOS the Mobs. Once you have the MT take aggro off the OT, and the OT is still tanking the Kittens, you need to DPS the kittens before the first Fear. (fight goes a lot easier if you do this) Once the kitten are down, you need to have EVERYONE Stack on your MT. if she fears you need to re-stack on the MT, there is no exception if your not on the MT your gonna cause the raid to take more damage than needed. 1Min into the fight, she spawns a Feral Defender, this is a kitten that will constantly pounce (This Pounce is STUNNABLE, Your able to keep her still if your good) between raid members, it is important that you stay stacked on the MT during this so you can keep the stay in one spot and continue to DPS. Once the Kitten is down, you need to move the entire raid away from the corpse as the dead cat farts and lets out a void circle if you stand in this, your gonna die. She does an AoE attack the if everyone is stacked correctly the damage is equally spread throughout the raid members, which is very easy to heal through. She also spawns a bunch of little kittens, these are very simple AoEs mobs, that die with ease and don't do much damage. Near the end of the fight we said Screw the Cat, and focused all DPS on her, the Cat didn't actually seem to bother us to much, But we are insanely good so its hard to say if other people can do it :D This fight is a simple DPS fight, compared to the other bosses within this instances she is one of the easiest if you listen and aren't completely stupid. OFFICER Member Since: November 2006 | Saturday April 25, 2009 7:41 AM Just some added notes.When the Defender kitten pounces around, it's stunnable. So if you got rogues and even better since that little pussy moves fast, pallies, they can stun it making the fight much easier. Also, at the end, we called for an all out DPS on Auriaya and just ignore the kitty. If you got good fast competent healers, they can easily heal through the damage by the jumping jellykat. OFFICER Member Since: September 2008 | Saturday April 25, 2009 8:03 AM Ya YouTube is still processing the Audio Switch :(I figured out my HD Problem, I was encoding it at 1080P, YouTube only does 720p so it down converted to 4:3 shit. OFFICER Member Since: September 2008 | Monday April 27, 2009 9:23 AM What I am thinking of doing with the videos from here on out. Is just like Tank Spot I'm going to do a Narration of the Fight explaining our Strats and the Boss abilities.What do you think? |
