 OFFICER Member Since: September 2008   | Saturday April 18, 2009 12:19 AM Thats right guys, Yesterday during out 10man Scouting mission, we downed RAZORSCALE.I made a really simple video, during the fight. First let me apologize for the horrible quality, I'll be recording in HD from now on, and Full Screen. Also don't laugh at my UI its simple but it works. And my future videos won't have my mouse in it either LOL. Stupid FRAPS! thought I turned that off... So once again my future videos will be in MUCH MUCH MUCH more detail, so we can actuallty explain the fight instead of "see there the blob in the form of the tree, notice how he tried to heal Phase2 on the outside of the circle, hes a fucktard don't do that, all range is to be inside the circle..." OUR Strat: Ok this fight is one of the simpler fights within Uldular. The thing that makes this fight hard is timing. The fight itself is a DPS race on both Phase 1 and Phase 2. The Pull: Have a Range, start the fight off by talking to one of the dwarfs in the back. POSITIONS: We did this with 2 Pally tanks, which makes the fight a bit more difficult but we're awesome so its all good. We had all of our range on the right side and Melee on the Left. Reason for this is because in the center a Sentinel will spawn and he does a nasty AOE Whirlwind which will one shot any Melee in range. Phase 1: During Phase 1, Razorscale is airbourne and remains there until 2 (4 in 25man) Harpoons are shot into him. This is where timing and communication comes in. Each Tank needs to focus on their areas, be it right or left of the circle, as Adds will be spawning from the ground via Mole Machines. The Range to focus their fire on the Watchers first, these mobs cast an Chain Lightning that does huge amounts of damage. As the Watchers die the Tanks need to speak in vent or type in chat "Watcher Down Right Side/Left Side). There will be 2 Waves of this, each Wave Tanks need to communicate when Watchers are down. Once Watchers are down, Range/Melee need to focus on getting the remaining adds down prior to the next wave of mobs coming. While Razorscale is the Air, she does 2 types of attacks one is a Fireball which hits for roughly 50% your health and needs to be healed right away as the target may get hit again. She also throws Blue Fire balls on the ground these need to be treated like VOID ZONES, they will kill whoever is inside it within 3 seconds. DO NOT STAND IN THE BLUE FLAMES OF DEATH!!!! You need to select one person to be incharge of the Harpoons, this person will wait until the watchers are down before relesing the harpoons. If the Watchers are Up when Razorscale is down, you will either wipe or loose a massive amount of DPS which should be directed onto Razorscale. Soon as the Watchers die in Wave 2, the Harpooner needs to release both Harpoons and everyone (except Tanks, if they still have Mobs on them) needs to focus every single bit of DPS they have on to Razorscale. When Razorscale is on the ground she does 0 damage and is stunned for 30seconds. Just before Razorscale goes back into Air Phase she will cast a Fire Breath directly infront of her to damage the Harpoons, DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF RAZORSCALE!!!!. Once she goes back up into the air, rinse and repeat the same thing, Communication is Key here. PHASE 2 Once Razorscale hits 50% health Phase 2 begins, this is a bit easier on the DPS. Once she is down, you need to have your tanks, tank her along the outside of the circle. she will be putting a debuff on the tanks which stacks causing them to slow down, and loose armour, the Debuff is called Fused Amour. We had our tanks switch out Aggro every 3 stacks to ensure we kept her moving. She also drops the Blue Fires of death during this phase this is why we keep her moving. All DPS should be on the inside of the circle just DPSing, as well as all HEALERS, during the video I was on the outside and you'll notice everytime I went to heal our tank he'd step out of range, eventually i got ticked and said maybe I should be in the middle LOL. Razorscale is a pretty simple fight, but it is a DPS Race. She does not have an ENRAGE Timer, but she does have a timer which if not killed fast enough she gets very angry. If you want to get the ration right .720h then you'd want to record in a 1280x720 resolution while playing. :)Good record!
